What Is the Pelican iM2975 Storm Transport Case?

The iM2975 is a wheeled Storm case with a 29.00 x 18.00 x 13.80 in interior, built for equipment that moves regularly rather than sits in storage.

It uses HPX resin with five press-and-pull latches, in-line wheels and a telescoping handle, so a loaded case can be pulled rather than carried. This configuration ships with foam already fitted.

The iM2975 measures 29.00 x 18.00 x 13.80 in inside and 31.30 x 20.40 x 15.50 in outside (73.6 x 45.7 x 35 cm and 79.5 x 51.8 x 39.4 cm). It weighs 29.5 lbs with foam and 22.8 lbs empty, and floats with 332.77 lbs of buoyancy.

The lid is 2.00 in deep and the base 11.80 in. It holds its seal from -20 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and is certified to MIL-STD-810F, FED-STD-101C and ATA 300.

With Foam or No Foam: Which iM2975 Do You Need?

Choose this With Foam version if you want the case ready to use on arrival. The foam is cut in layers you can shape to your equipment.

Choose the iM2975 No Foam if you are fitting your own insert, a rack, or a custom foam build. Both are the same case and the same shell - the only difference is what is inside.

Foam can also be replaced later with the iM2975 8-piece replacement foam set.
